Los Leones in Mexico: Signs and Wonders

Signs and Wonders- Mante, Voz, Victoria Jan 2026

On Friday the Leones left Edinburg earlier than usual to be able to arrive in Mante before dark. This time Herminio was able to join alongside Nick, Riley and Willy.  As they traveled Willy reminisced with the men about the first trip he and Herminio took into the interior of Mexico in 1996 to a village called San Isidro realizing that it's been 30 years that World Harvest has been ministering in Mexico.
As the men traveled into Reynosa, they picked up Josue, a leader of the Rio Bravo church, and their first stop was for a late lunch in Nuevo Padilla (Nuevo because the previous town had been flooded years ago).  The stop in Nuevo Padilla has become a favorite for the Leones, and this time around, they were served by Carlos, a 7-year-old boy who was an amazing server. Herminio was able to minister to the young boy and he received well. After lunch, the trip continued to Cd. Victoria where they picked up Carlos, Ricardo and Juan Antonio. The Suburban was hauling 8 men and the joy and faith in that vehicle was great.
The men went directly to Cd. Mante (a 2 hour drive southeast) and arrived at Angel’s Ranch to pray with him since he had been hospitalized the week of the trip.  The men were greeted by many family members, and they immediately went to lay hands on Angel.  As the men entered the house, his son Juan asked, “Did Willy bring the accordion because my dad wants to praise?” After prayer, the men took out their instruments, and the praise service began. They all praised, and Angel, seen from the patio, stood and continued praising the Lord with all his might. It was a revival!  After praise, there was a great time of fellowship with some of the guests at Angel’s house.
Saturday morning was busy for the men as they awoke early and had a quick breakfast and then headed out to Church.  The men prepared the music and all were involved in getting everything ready for the service. A great sound of praise went forth and the people rejoiced in God’s presence. After the Praise Service, the church gathered in a circle and all the Leones greeted and/or shared some Word with the congregation. All of them were prayed for and several were instantly healed of their infirmity.  One couple re-dedicated their lives to the Lord as they have learned that the “world” has nothing good to offer. After the Spiritual came the Mante cuisine as the church enjoyed some barbacoa, salsas, picadillo and some beans and tortillas and a great time of fellowship. The men were fully blessed!
The men then traveled an hour to Voz Campesina to continue the Lord's work. The church family were already ready and the praise, led by Isai and Carlos, began with Juan Antonio, Riley, Ricardo and Willy joining in. The people in Voz have been very vocal and expressive in their praise in recent services so it was a great time in HIM.  After praise, the men shared a Word with the congregation and then prayer took place. The Lord moved in a great manner so much so that many were instantly healed of what they were dealing with.  Isai and Karen were prayed over as we believe they have an anointing for a healing ministry. We expect to see results from that prayer. After Voz the  Leones drove back to Cd Victoria and there had fellowship with some other men from the local church (Alberto, Fernando and Eric). The men were able to relax that evening and they prepared for a great service the following morning.
On Sunday part of the cold front that was projected in the USA was felt but it was a very pleasant 50 degree weather.  The Leones arrived and the service started with Riley and Willy joining the praise team of Victoria. Carlos then had all the Leones share what God had done that weekend.  Willy then shared the Word regarding the healing and suffering that Jesus went through so that his Body doesn't have to suffer. An altar call was made for prayer and Isai and Karen along with many others, laid hands on several people and we saw more who were instantly healed. It was a glorious time and we saw the corporate anointing that Pastor Jose taught on at the beginning of the year in effect at all the services.  We believe that corporate anointing will continue to flow so that our churches in Mexico will have a year of "BETTER!"
